How

Why not just use a bullet list or a drawing?
When I ran the demo I asked a question and I got a wrong answer.
Is this Eliza or Alice?
How many video clips will I need?
Does it work on PDA and or video cell phones?
Can it work for Spanish?
How does the Video work?

How
much does it cost?
Every project is unique and the cost of developing it all depends
on the complexity of it and potential costs of if you wish to use human talent
or perhaps use an animated cartoon.
Why
not just use a bullet list or a drawing?
Few customers enjoy bullet lists or non-interactive Frequently Asked Questions
web pages. Most want to talk to and ask questions of a real human being. To
the viewer, Expertbots look like a real human on standard web cams, helping
and interacting with the customer. Combining our Artificial Intelligence technology
with a video library of numerous shots of a live model, Expertbots create
the realistic appearance of a live, real time interaction with a human expert
on the other end.
This interactive technology gives them the ability to get the interactive
answers they are looking for with their computer or cell phones at a moment's
notice.”
During instructions and movies the customer can interact (typing if using
Short Message Service "SMS") to the DIY-Expertbot. At times the
DIY-Expertbot video could be paused in a natural manner. The DIY-Expertbot
would stop naturally as if listening to a question in a web cam type of video.
This creates the illusion that you are really in the situation like fixing
a kitchen sink and posing questions and the DIY-Expertbot is answering them.
When
I ran the demo I asked a question and I got a wrong answer.
This is a simple demo that is only to show the idea of how this “Do It Yourself”
project could be done. The demo only has 12 video clips and answers to about
a dozen questions.
This demo is a tiny overlay, dropped on top of our core product. Our core
product has tens of millions standard responses built into the core technology.
If you did not ask something the DIY demo understood, the generic engine would
have handled the answer you got. A production version would have thousands
of answers to your custom job to create a seamless experience to your customers.
Is
this Eliza or Alice?
No it is not, both of them are excellent products, but they are vastly limited
in what they can do. They are not proactive much less have our unique hierarchal
model, where one topic can have many subtopics and those topics can also have
their own subtopics etc. This allows depth to a chat, that stays in the present
topic being talked about and flows up and down naturally.
How
many video clips will I need?
Short video clips can be stitched seamlessly together on the fly. There is
a group of standard movements and actions, like your spokes person looking
at the camera and saying yes or no and so forth. We do multiple takes of every
action; this allows the chance of any noticeable repeat of an action to be
minimized. Your job will be scripted out like a movie, and then broken down
into short action sequence clips.
Does
it work on PDA and or video cell phones?
Yes, it can be used on any of those platforms.
Can
it work for Spanish?
Yes, it can be used for any language. All of the clips can have the video
and audio separated. This allows us to use the video and play the appropriate
language audio track on the fly.
How does the Video work:
It is done like a movie. You have a script of what is to be done with the
knowledge that it will be cut into many scenes of perhaps 15 seconds duration.
At the appropriate place one pauses the action to allow for the splice. One
must keep in mind that the client might at anytime interrupt the action to
ask a question and these pauses/splices should keep that in mind.
Do
I have to use human models?
This is cutting edge technology DIY-Expertbots can be as friendly and as comfortable
for customers as a cartoon, to a real live interactive video clips of your
corporate spokesperson. Human or animation can also be mixed for your job.
Can
I make money with this?
Your computer spokesperson can "personally" endorse products and
services all naturally within the constant interactive casual chat.”
• Sell as a stand-alone product CD.
• You could charge a small monthly fee or per use with the Internet version.
• You could charge other manufacturers for a product placement movie. For
example: “Branded Product” pays for the movie of their product being used
on the site. I.e. product placement or an infomercial Ad type of thing.
• Banner ads based on location and chat the human is having with the cyber-personalities
For example: “Branded Product” Faucets.
• Allow customers to send web cam or photos in email to a human for real time
professional advice.
• Suggest services and products to the customer based on chat. “I don’t know
color to paint my kitchen...”
• Selling products or other services recommended by the DIY-Expertbot to the
customer online orders
What kind of hardware is needed to run this?
